Our client is a solutions provider in the automotive industry focused on designing, engineering, and producing high-performance components and systems for hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs).

They needed a professional team to implement one of the innovative features for the Human-machine interface (HMI).

Project Overview

Our role in this project was to not only complete the outlined tasks, but also improve overall product quality. According to the plan, we developed:   

Text to Speech (TTS)

the feature allows converting text into natural-sounding speech

Valet Mode

the part of a car’s security system that hides the driver’s personal information;   

End of Line (EOL)

testing touch screen responsiveness and display to highlight possible defects;  

Qt System Translation

translating applications into 8 local languages;

Apple Car Play / Android Auto

the feature allows connecting smartphones to the vehicle’s multimedia system.   

Results

Cooperating with Crunch, the client enhanced technical expertise in the automotive sphere, improved software security, and delivered new features 2x faster to their customers.
