The main goal of the Customer was to maintain and enhance their existing analytics software that uses AI and computer vision to optimize store productivity and improve shoppers’ experience.
Their solution consists of tools for optimizing the store layout and merchandising, monitoring the conversion rates per store sections, preventing losses, evaluating marketing performance, and monitoring staff.
Project Overview
Crunch team consisting of 6 developers has contributed to the development of the following tools:
Retail management tool
that optimizes in-store experience through rearranging product placements and monitors the traffic and conversion rates per store or product sections.
Merchandising tool
that checks the impact of various product placements, evaluates reactions to different designs, and improves the store layouts.
Operations tool
that optimizes operational costs while maintaining the quality of service and evaluates staff performance.
Loss prevention tool
that detects fraudulent transactions and ensures retail compliance through alerts and surveillance footage.
The solution can be easily integrated into the existing clients’ systems and helps transform in-store video feeds from the surveillance cameras into useful store indicators. The clients can also get a snapshot of their stores’ performance with all the needed metrics, such as stores or sections performance, shoppers’ demographics, conversion rate, and more.
