Since 2003, our client has been the early pioneer of online price comparison technology in the UK. Their software product, and intelligent comparison solutions, enable financial services, tech, and media brands to get access to new customers and a full view of financial data streams.
The client faced software limitations as the platform couldn’t process large amounts of data and provide accurate information to their end-users. Working on the project, we found the following improvements to be made:
since apps built with Symphony are usually slower and take longer to develop and test, our team recommended moving to Laravel. The framework is constantly updated with the newest PHP features, so the software is easier to grow;
we made substantial improvements to the code structure and components;
this extension allows generating reports with current and historical data via predictive analytics.
We moved the system to a new and feature-rich framework and refactored dozens of lines of source code that increased the overall performance rate. Our cooperation has also brought improvements for the end-users and raised their satisfaction rate.
